As the Partnerships Coordinator for Fairmont School District 89, I ensure that everyone in our community receives the support they need to thrive. Collaborating closely with school staff, families, and community partners, including Lewis University, I focus on building sustainable partnerships to enhance student, family, staff, and community wellness. This includes identifying students and connecting them with relevant community programs, addressing issues like absenteeism, and supporting family engagement. I also establish partnerships to enhance comprehensive health services, ensure children's needs are met, and implement empowering approaches to engaging with students and families. Additionally, I'm committed to practicing restorative and trauma-responsive approaches and coordinating services for healing and prevention. I collaborate with stakeholders, participate in training sessions, and support data collection to ensure the success of our partnership. Through these efforts, I strive to create an environment that fosters engaged learning opportunities for students and staff and serve as a positive role model for our community.
