Fairmont School District 89 has an immediate vacancy on the School Board.
The School Board will be accepting resumes for the Board vacancy from July 8 to July 26, 2024. The vacancy will need to be filled until April 2025. Residents interested in filling the Board vacancy should submit a resume.

At last night's board meeting, we recognized our Board of Education School Board President Mr. Louis Spoonhour, and Principal Mr. Zachary Snyder. We thank you both so much for your years of service. Fairmont will miss you!
After spending all summer learning about the summer games and researching a famous Olympian, our 2nd graders got to complete math games while racing the clock to earn medals! Today they also spent some time with the 5th graders during the Olympic Games!
Our 5th graders enjoyed French cuisine for breakfast and playing classroom Olympic Games like Kahoot, math facts, and rubber band archery to celebrate the summer Olympics in Paris!
Fairmont Building will be closed next week and will reopen Monday, July 8th for our regular summer hours of Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm.
